Milletia Laurentii (West & Central Africa)

Wengé is one of the darkest and most unique looking timbers and is readily available for use in internal joinery and cabinet making. The heartwood has a coarse grain that alternates in colour between dark brown and almost black. It is a beautiful looking timber that is dense and hard wearing and is a good option for projects that require a very high quality.
