Pinus sylvestris (Northern Russia)

Also known as Baltic Pine or Scots Pine, our stocks of European Pine are exclusively from Northern Russia and should not be confused with the inferior faster grown productions of Scandinavia. Timber from these slow growing trees has a finer less pronounced grain, is more stable and easier to work. We have extensive stocks of the best imported grade, known as ‘Unsorted’, which is used for quality cabinet making and architectural and general joinery. In addition to our sawn stocks, we usually keep some sections ready prepared.
