Ipe and Balau are excellent options when choosing a material for outdoor decking. The hardwood boards offer great strength and durability and require little or no maintenance. Ipe is dark brown while the Balau is more naturally yellow in colour. Both of these will mature to a silver/grey colour over time if left untreated.
